Terms of service

These terms set out how to use Natless (the natless.net site, the dashboard, tunnels and addresses) and the Natless server on Discord. By using them you accept the terms in full.

Natless is in early access. Before we launch paid features we will add the details of the company running the service here.

Natless gives a server running on your computer a public subdomain under natless.net. An agent on your computer connects to our infrastructure through an encrypted WireGuard tunnel, and players connect to our address. You don't need to forward ports or have a public IP address.

The service carries TCP and UDP traffic. We describe features and limits in the dashboard, and they may change as the product grows.

• You can create an account if you are at least 16. Anyone under 18 uses the service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• Give a real email address and look after your password. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account.
• One person, one account. Creating accounts to get around limits or a ban is not allowed.
• You can delete your account at any time. Until the dashboard has that option, we will do it when you ask.

Natless is for sharing your own game servers and services with friends and a community. You must not use it for:

• attacks, including DDoS, scanning other people's networks and break-in attempts,
• publishing or distributing illegal content, including piracy and child sexual abuse material,
• spam, phishing, malware and servers that control malware,
• reselling or sharing a tunnel with third parties as a proxy or VPN service,
• getting around the service's limits, bans and protections.

A subdomain name is 3 to 24 characters: letters a–z, digits and a hyphen. Reserving a name gives you no ownership rights to it.

We may take back a name that infringes someone's rights, is misleading (for example impersonates a brand or the team) or is offensive. The same goes for a name you haven't used for a long time.

Some features may be paid and charged to your account balance in Polish złoty. We show the price and scope before you buy. The balance can only be used to pay for Natless services.

Refund and withdrawal terms are shown at purchase, in line with consumer law.

We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will be available without interruptions. We announce maintenance in the updates channel on Discord when we can.

We may change, limit or retire features. If a change affects paid features, we will explain what happens to any unused balance.

We process the data needed to run the service: email address and nickname, sign-in data (the password is stored only as a hash), WireGuard public keys, subdomain names and connection statistics such as the amount of data transferred and tunnel uptime. Signing in with Discord or Google gives us only basic profile data.

In-game traffic passes through our servers inside an encrypted tunnel. We don't analyse its contents. Your IP address is not shown to players.

We don't sell data. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and to object and to complain to the Polish data protection authority (UODO). Write to us if you want to use these rights.

Joining the Natless server means you accept the rules below. Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines also apply.

• Respect. No insults, harassment, hate speech or discrimination, jokes included.
• Content. No illegal, pornographic or graphic content, and no piracy. This covers nicknames, avatars and statuses too.
• Spam and ads. No spam, flooding, mass mentions or advertising. Invites and links to services only with the team's permission.
• Safety. Never share passwords, WireGuard keys or payment details. The Natless team will never ask for your password. Don't post other people's data, including IP addresses.
• Help. Report tunnel problems in the help channel and bugs in the bug channel. Say which game and system, and what you see in the logs. No private messages to the team and no chasing.
• Moderation. The team may warn, mute or ban, depending on how serious the breach is. Appeal in the help channel.

If you break these terms, we may warn you, suspend a tunnel or your account, or remove it. For serious breaches, such as attacks, we will do it immediately. We tell you about the decision and the reason by email or in the dashboard, and you can appeal in the help channel.

The service is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for downtime, for loss of data on your server, or for the actions of players and others who use your address. This does not limit consumer rights under mandatory law.

We will announce significant changes to these terms at least 14 days before they take effect, on the site, in the dashboard or on Discord. If you don't accept them, you can stop using the service. Polish law applies.
